More than 300 Pre-Columbian objects from the collections of the National Museum of Archeology and Ethnology of Guatemala and La Ruta Maya Foundation illustrated the following themes:

  • The close links between the Mayas and the jungle, its plants and animals.
  • Mayan writing, mathematics and astronomy
  • The treasures of kings and queens and the entanglement of politics
  • The culture and daily life of the Mayans of yesterday and today
