La Ruta Maya seeks to establish alliances with museums in the region with the purpose of lending or donating important pieces in order to disseminate and promote the understanding of pre-Columbian art in the Mesoamerican area.

Among its activities, La Ruta Maya organizes exhibits of pieces from its own collection, and gives pieces on loan to local and foreign museums to enrich their permanent collections and traveling exhibitions.

Today, more than a hundred pieces of its collection are exhibited in the main national museums: Museo Miraflores, Museo Casa Santo Domingo, Museo Popol Vuh  and, in the near future, Museo Carlos F. Novella.

Objets from the collection have also been on display at the Lowe Art Museum in Miami, Florida and in the Museo Nacional de Antropología “David J. Guzmán” in San Salvador, El Salvador.  In the near future, there will be exhibitions in the  Quai Branly Museum in Paris and in others museums all over Latinamerica.

En un futuro cercano, se exhibirá en el Museo Quai Branly en Paris y en otros museos de latinoamérica.
